The Forest Cabin

Nestled deep in the rain forest of the Pacific Northwest on the Sunshine Coast you will find our cabin densely held by the cedars & kissed by the cascading creek. We welcome guests from all over the world to cosy up by the fire with a good book and a cup of tea, or simply get lost in the natural beauty that surrounds us. Drift off to sleep with only the sounds of nature & awaken to the natural light & fresh air that only the forest can breathe.

The Sunshine Coast…..

The Sunshine Coast in BC, Canada, is a breathtaking region known for its stunning natural landscapes and serene coastal lifestyle. Stretching approximately 180 kilometers, it is split into two distinct sections: the Lower Sunshine Coast and the Upper Sunshine Coast, separated by a unique geography that includes inlets and dense forested areas.

Access to the Sunshine Coast is by ferry, as it is not connected to the mainland by road. To travel between the Lower Sunshine Coast (from Gibsons to Earl’s Cove) and the Upper Sunshine Coast (from Saltery Bay to Lund), you need to take a scenic ferry ride across Jervis Inlet. This ferry journey, with its sweeping views of rugged coastline, ocean, and mountains, is part of what makes traveling between the two coasts such a memorable experience.

This region is cherished for its picturesque waterfronts, charming small towns, and abundant outdoor activities, from hiking and kayaking to exploring old-growth forests. The Sunshine Coast is a haven for nature lovers and those seeking a slower, more peaceful pace of life.

If you are looking to explore both coasts we recommend staying with us in Roberts Creek for a few days, checking out the Skookum narrows in Earl’s Cove & catching the ferry to Powell River to take a scenic drive up to Lund to stay at the stunning Laughter Oyster. You will not regret it. Let them know you stayed with us for a sweet treat.
